Intern with dvDepot and gain knowledge, experience, and contacts that will help you start your career! We are always looking for technically savvy interns to work in our office. The internships are unpaid, but arrangements can be made with your college/university to receive academic credit.

You must be interested in learning about professional gear and the day-to-day operations of a Camera, Audio, and Lighting Rental House. You will learn about the functionality of the production equipment and how it’s applied in the field. You will be taught to identify the equipment, and test the gear out, providing hands-on experience. Interns are occasionally sent on shoots as production assistants, so you’ll learn about work in the camera, lighting, audio, and grip departments on a functioning set. You will also go out on runs, becoming familiar with NYC, and our clients.

You must be available at least 2 days a week, and live in or around the NYC area. The duration of the internship is a college semester or 3-4 months. You must be able to work independently or with a team, and have excellent organizational skills. Interest in the technical side of the film/television industry is a must. This industry is all about connections. We will give you the chance to make those connections while gaining valuable skills and knowledge for a career in the television industry.
